A cold front arriving Monday and an upper level disturbance coming in Tuesday will bring snow back into our forecast this week.
Temperatures will drop in the low levels of the atmosphere, allowing for snow chances particularly on Tuesday. Models still vary in terms of amounts and which areas will see the highest totals, so we’re still hesitant to talk too much about potential totals at this time. Many areas should expect accumulating snow.
A wedge of cold air arrives Wednesday, a pattern more conducive to sleet and freezing rain rather than snow, which could spell problems on the roadways should they ice over.
