KANNAPOLIS – Have you ever wanted to know about the different programs and services offered by Cooperative Christian Ministry, but didn’t have the time to tour the different facilities? For one day, you can see everything offered by CCM in one location.
The annual Cooperative Christian Ministry Expo will be held Tuesday, Feb. 26, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Bethel Enrichment Center of Bethel Baptist Church. Tour exhibits of CCM’s ministry programs, and learn more about crisis assistance, CCM’s food ministry, shelter and housing and more.
CCM provides services to those in need in Cabarrus and southern Rowan Counties.
“So many people don’t realize all the facets of what we do at CCM and all the ministries we have and how what we do impacts the community,” says Lorie Williams, volunteer coordinator for CCM. “It’s not just an education for what CCM does. People can come understand the services we provide so they can recommend them to people they know.”
Williams says the Expo is about education, referral and even learning how you can help as CCM responds to the crisis of homelessness and need in Cabarrus and southern Rowan counties.
This year’s Expo is being held at the Bethel Enrichment Center at Bethel Baptist Church, 2474 Dale Earnhardt Blvd., Kannapolis. In the past, the Expo has been held in Concord, near the CCM Crisis Center. Beginning this year, and in the future, the Ministry Expo will rotate to locations in communities served by CCM within Cabarrus and southern Rowan counties.
