SALISBURY – Investigators from several agencies worked together on Friday for what they called a major drug bust.
The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit and Criminal Investigation Division, assisted by the Iredell, Davie, and Lincoln County Sheriff’s Offices arrested Mirlda Crowell Coish, 41, and Johnnie Dale Albea, 42, both residents of 1194 Daniels Road in Mocksville, and Jenny Lynn Roush, 28, of 139 Cone Drive, Woodleaf.
The arrests are in connection to an undercover investigation involving the trafficking of prescription morphine tablets.
Albea and Coish were charged with trafficking four grams or more, but less than 14 grams of opium, which involved the sale of morphine tablets on May 8, 2013.
Albea is presently on federal supervised release, after having recently been released from federal prison from a drug related conviction.
Coish and Roush were charged with trafficking and conspiracy to traffic four grams or more, but less than 14 grams of opium, which involved the sale of morphine tablets on July 5, 2013.
Additionally, Roush was charged with possess with intent to sell or deliver opium, related to Oxycodone found in her possession at the time of her arrest on July 5, 2013.
Coish was placed under a $35,000 secured bond. Roush was placed under a $15,000 secured bond. Albea was arrested in Davie County and was incarcerated there. No picture existed in the Rowan County system of Albea.
