Faithful Friends Animal Sanctuary’s first Operations Manager, Shelley Swaim, has stepped down and is relocating outside of the Carolinas. Her last day at Faithful Friends was November 9, 2012.
According to a release, Swaim, who assumed the Operations Manager position in March, has devoted more than twenty-five years of her life to animal welfare either working for the state, volunteering for humane societies and no-kill shelters, or attending to animals in disaster relief operations.
The press information says Faithful Friends will hire an interim Operations Manager to continue their work rescuing, caring for, and adopting animals.
Faithful Friends Animal Sanctuary (FFAS) is an animal rescue group formed for the sole purpose of starting an animal sanctuary in Rowan County.
