Salisbury Police made quick work of an armed robbery case that they say happened around 10:15 pm on Monday night.

According to the report, a man said that he was robbed at gunpoint in the parking lot of an apartment building located at 103 Pearl Street.  The alleged victim told police he was visiting that location because someone there owed him $20.

While waiting, the man said that a white Ford Expedition drive up and that the driver got out and pulled a gun from the waistband of his pants and stuck the gun in the man’s face.  The man gave the gunman $20 then watched as the gunman got back in the Expedition and drove away.

A witness in the parking lot got the tag number from the Expedition, then reported it to police.  In a little over an hour the SUV was spotted on N. Church Street, and the driver was arrested.

Police charged Rickey Lee Hoskins, Jr., 33, with robbery with a dangerous weapon.  Bond was set at $50,000.  Hoskins is set to appear in court on Wednesday.
