SALISBURY – A man accused of speeding off in a car while a Rowan County Sheriff’s deputy was in the back seat has now been arrested in Charlotte.

Anthony Jamal Duncan was found hiding in a closet on Thursday night, according to police. He is now in the Rowan County Detention Center under $50,000 bond, charged with assault on a law enforcement officer, as well as drugs and weapon charges.
