EAST SPENCER, NC (WBTV)- A Rowan County man was arrested Thursday morning after investigators say he had packaged drugs to sale at his home.

Charles Calvin Barber, 48, of East Spencer, is charged with felony possession with intent to sell and distribute marijuana, maintaining a dwelling to keep store and sell controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a news release from the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office.

A search warrant was served at his home on Mitchell Street where detectives found 56 grams of marijuana packaged for sell. $1,271 in cash was also seized.

Barber was placed in jail under a $10,000 secured bond.
