SALISBURY – Three people have been charged in connection with repeated break ins at a local car lot.
Diamond Auto Sales, of 5515 Mooresville Road, has been victimized several times by the theft of automobile parts and accessories from their storage facility.
Investigators with the Rowan Sheriff’s Officer were able to learn about potential suspects in the case.
Neil Hooper was brought in from the Cabarrus County Jail, where he was awaiting sentencing for the armed robbery of the Kentucky Fried Chicken in Kannapolis.
James Moore was also brought from the Cabarrus County Jail, while Chantile Eller was taken into custody by Rowan County Sheriffs Office on Friday.
Information was presented to the magistrate in these cases and warrants were issued for Chantile Eller, Neil Hooper and James Franklin Moore. Each suspect was charged with 18 Felony warrants for a total of 54 charges.
These warrants for each suspect are as follows: three counts of felony breaking and entering of a building, six counts of felony obtaining property by false pretenses, three counts of felony damage to property to obtain non ferrous metals, and six counts of felony breaking and entering a motor vehicle.
Chantile Eller was placed in the Rowan County Detention Center under a $10,000 bond. Neil Hooper was placed in the Rowan County Detention Center under a $25,000 bond. James Moore was placed in the Rowan County Detention Center under $ 25,000 bond.
