A traffic stop by Salisbury Police on Wednesday night turned up drugs and a gun in the possession of a convicted felon.

Police stopped a car in the 1500 block of W. Innes Street just after 11:00 pm.  According to the report, a search of the car revealed marijuana, cocaine, and a handgun.  The driver of the car, Nick Burts, 25, of Gallimore Road, was charged with weapon possession by a felon as well as drug possession.  Burts is being held under $20,000 bond.
