Warrants now issued in Enochville armed robbery

SALISBURY – Detectives have now identified the man they say robbed an Enochville store on November 7, and warrants have been issued for the man’s arrest.

The Xpress Mart on West “C” Street in Enochville was robbed by a man armed with a pump shotgun. This robbery was similar to robberies that had occurred in Kannapolis and China Grove.

During the course of the investigation it was determined that the robberies were related and involved several suspects working together. On Thursday, Kannapolis arrested a suspect named Johntavious Billings as being involved in robberies in Kannapolis.

Information from the Kannapolis and China Grove case lead to the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office identifying 33 year old Deangelo Artavis Chisolm as the suspect in the November 7 Enochville robbery.

Detectives were able to confirm Chisolm as the suspect and warrants for robbery with a dangerous weapon have been issued for his arrest. Chisom’s last known address is Kentucky Street, Kannapolis.

The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office and Kannapolis Police are currently looking for Chisolm. Anyone with information on Chisom’s whereabouts are asked to contact Det. Carl Dangerfield (704) 216-8711, Lt. Chad Moose (704) 216-8687 or Crime Stoppers 1-866-639-5245.
