Bowl bids were announced Sunday for many teams, including NC State and Duke.  State will play Vanderbilt in the Music CIty Bowl in Nashville, Tennessee on December 31st (noon on ESPN) and Duke will play in the Belk Bowl in Charlotte on Thursday night, December 27 against Cincinnati and will start at 6:30Pm that night.  Other matchups include:  Saturday December 22 in the New Orleans Bowl for East Carolina against Louisiana-Lafayette at noon, Georgia Tech vs. Southern Cal in the Sun Bowl in El Paso, Texas on Monday December 31 at 2:00PM, LSU vs. Clemson in the Chick-fil-A Bowl also on the 31st at 7:30PM, South Carolina against Michigan on January 1 in the Outback Bowl 1:00PM, and Northern Illinois vs. Florida State in the Orange Bowl 8:30PM on January 1st.  The Rose Bowl has Stanford atainst Wisconsin in Pasadena, California on January 1 at 5:00PM….And the National Championship game has Notre Dame taking on Alabama on January 7 at 8:30PM.
