The ACC season is set to start Saturday.  Games include Top Ranked Duke hosting Wake Forest, with tipoff time at around Noon.  Duke is 13-0, Wake at 7-5.  Other ACC matchups Saturday include:  NC State at Boston College (4:00PM)  Florida State at Clemson (4:00PM)  Virginia Tech at Maryland, and Miami, Fla. at Georgia Tech.  North Carolina visits Virginia Sunday in a game that will be broadcast on Newsradio 1490, tipping off around eight o’clock. 

Other Games of note:  Livingstone continues its CIAA road trip with a doubleheader at Virginia Union (Women 5:30, Men 7:30PM), Unc-Greensboro at Davidson 7:00PM, Gardner Webb at Campbell, High Point at Winthrop, Carson Newman at Queens.  Catawba doesn’t play again until Wednesday when they open their conference season at home against Brevard.
