In ACC Basketball Tuesday night, North Carolina won impressively over Wake Forest in Chapel Hill, 87-62. UNC raced to a twenty point lead at halftime, then coasted to the 25 point victory. Reggie Bullock led the scoring with 23 points and James Michael McAdoo added twenty. P.J. Hairston, who had sat out since suffering a concussion against Boston College, returned to the floor and scored 11 points. Carolina improved to 6-3 in the ACC, 16-6 overall, while Wake dropped to 10-12, 3-7 in the league. The Tarheels next game is Saturday afternoon at Miami. The Hurricanes romped past Boston College at Coral Gables 72-50 as reseve junior, Rion Brown tied a career high with 22 points and Kenny Kadji added 16 pionts and eight rebounds in just 21 minutes. Miami keeps its two game lead in the ACC with its 9-0 conference record, 18-3 mark overall. And in the other ACC game Tuesday, Florida State nipped Georgia Tech 56-54 in Atlanta on a buzzer beater layup by the Seminoles Michael Snaer. In national games of significance, Arkansas upset #2 Ranked Florida in the SEC 80-69and #3 Michigan rallied to edge #10 Ohio State 76-74 in overtime.
