Thursday scores included #3 Duke defeating ACC rival, Georgia Tech 73-57.  Seth Curry led the Blue Devil scoring with 24 points, while Mason Plumlee added 16 points and 13 rebounds.  Duke trailed by one at halftime but dominated the final 20 minutes and shot 53.1 percent in the second half.  The Blue Devils upped their conference record to 3-1, their overall mark to 16-1.  Georgia Tech Freshman, Chris Bolden, had twenty points, the most scored by a Georgia Tech player thsi season.  The Yellow Jackets dropped to 10-6 overall, but 0-4 in the ACC. 

In other scores for the Carolina’s it was: Davidson 70 The Citadel 38, Elon 73 Fruman 59, Georgia Southern 51 College Of Charleston 47, and Samford 64 Western Carolina 60.  UNC hosts Maryland Saturday in a game you can hear on Newsradio 1490, with pregame at 11:00AM, and tipoff at noon.  Livingstone had its schedule game with Morris College at Trent Gym canceled by the snowy weather Thursday.
