Four time Nascar Champion, Jeff Gordon, was fined $100,000 and docked 25 points for his intentional wreck of Clint Bowyer in Arizona on Sunday.  He also was place on probation until December 31st, but was not suspended, and will be allowed to close out the season at Homestead-Miami Speedway this weekend.  The penalty dropped Gordon to 11th place in the Chase for the Sprint Cup Championship, four points behind Martin Truex.  Gordon acknowleged that he waited on Bowyer to accomplish his wreck, saying he was “fed up”.  Gordon’s actions helped eliminate Bowyer from a chance to win the points race.
