A heavy slate of High School Basketball for the week cranks up again on Tuesday.  Tuesday night’s feature game on Newsradio 1490 and 1490wstp.com will be East Davidson at Salisbury.  Coverage starts at 7:05PM for play by play of the Boys game.  Other games for Rowan County Tuesday will include East Montgomery at North Rowan, West Rowan at South Rowan, and West Iredell at East Rowan.  Wednesday includes a couple of makeup games with Carson hosting West Rowan, Statesville at East Rowan, and Salisbury at Thomasville.  The Carson-West Rowan Girls will have special broadcast coverage on Newsradio 1490 and 1490wstp.com starting at around 6:15PM.  Thursday North Rowan hosts Albemarle and that will also have broadcast coverage on WSTP/Newsradio 1490 and 1490wstp.com  starting at 7:05PM.  ANd Friday Newsradio 1490 will feature West Rowan and East Rowan with coverage starting at around 7:30PM for the Boys game.  Other games Friday will include North Rowan at Gray Stone, West Davidson at Salisbury, Statesville at Carson, and South Rowan at North Iredell.  Keep up with all the Rowan County High School results on Newsradio 1490.

Saturday North Rowan’s Boys defeated Salisbury 76-50, while the Salisbury Girls won in overtime 59-58.  Both games were played at North Rowan.
