Semifinal results from Wednesday included two Rowan County teams:  North Rowan’s Boys defeated East Montgomery 78-51 at Biscoe.  Oshon West had 24 points, and Jalen Sanders added 18. North led throughout, and broke the game open in the third quarter, outscoring the host team 26-9.  North will play the winner of Thursday night’s semifinal game between North Moore and Albemarle at 7:30PM Friday night for the tournament Championship. 

East Rowan’s girls lost their semifinal game to top seeded North Iredell 57-40..East stars Karleigh Wike and Kelli Fisher were held to just one point between them in the second half.  Wike did get twelve rebounds and five blocks and finished with nine points.  East will still go on to State Playoffs competition as the fourth seed from the NPC.  North Iredell will face the winner of Thursday night’s game between West Rowan and Carson for the tournament title Friday night.
