A first points Championsihp for Brad Keslowski, at the season finale at Homestead, Florida Sunday.  Keselowski finished fifteenth, which was all he needed to capture the title.  Jimmy Johnson was the only one entering the final race that had a chance to overtake Keselowski and he ran into trouble with mechanical problems that caused him to leave the race and wind up 36th in the race, third place in the points, 40 points behind Keselowski.  Keselowski wound up beating out second place Clint Bowyer by 39 points.  Jeff Gordon won the race to get him a tenth place finish.
