In NFl Thursday night Football, the Denver Broncos won their eighth straight game with Peyton Manning 26-13.  Manning had310 yards passing, with his 30th touchdown pass, Knowshon Moreno rushed for 119 yards, and a score, and Matt Prater booted four field goals..The Broncos have already clinched a playoff spots in the AFC West at 10-3, and are battling with Houston, New England, Baltimore, and Pittsburgh for top playoff postitions in the AFC.  The Raiders lost their sixth in a row, and they are 3-10. 

In College hoops, Vanderbilt edged Xavier 66-64 in overtime, while Lenoir Rhyne 89 Lees McRae 67.  UNC vs. East Tennessee State can be heard Saturday on Newsradio 1490, starting at 6:30PM from the Smith Center in Chapel Hill. 

The Charlotte Bobcats play at Milwaukee Friday night against the Bucks. Tipoff time is 8:30PM and Newsradio 1490 will join the play by play immediately following the High School Basketball coverage from West Rowan.
