The New England Patriots asserted their dominance over the Houston Texans in what was supposed to be a battle between the two top teams in the AFC. The Pats scored on their first possession and went on from there to the romp of 42-14. Tom Brady threw four touchdown passes and 296 yards. Matt Schaub of the Texans had a rough night that included an interception in the end zone that denied them a score. The Patriots upped their record to 10-3, have already won the AFC East, and are now just one game behind the 11-2 Texans for the top record in the AFC. The Pats have now also won twenty straight games at home in the month of December.
