Added Sports Notes

The Charlotte Bobcats lost at Milwaukee 131-102, the Bucks highest scoring total in  more than four years.  Charlotte is off Tuesday, but hosts Philadelphia Wednesday night at 7:00 PM, then Miami Friday night vists Time Warner Cable Arena. 

In High School Baseball, North Rowan visits North Moore Tuesday night at 7:00 PM in a Yadkin Valley Conference game, then has a non-conference game Wednesday night at West Davidson.  The other five Rowan County schools will be participating in the F & M Bank Baseball Classic at CMC Northeast Stadium, taking on opposition from Cabarrus County.  Those game will be each day starting at 9:00 AM and continuing until the games have been concluded.  A Championship  Cup will be presented to the County schools that win the most games.  The Activity starts Thursday April 4th through Saturday the 6th.  The Kannapolis Intimidators open their season on the road this Thursday at Lakewood, and will have their home opener at the stadium Thursday April 11th against the Hickory Crawdads.  Contact the Intimidatorsbaseball.com for more information about the season. 

The NIT resumes in New York City Tuesday night with the semifinals of the tournament.  Maryland, representing the ACC for the last time is playing in the second game against Iowa at 9:30 PM.  It follows the first semifinal between Baylor and BYU that tips at 7:00 PM.  The two winners play for the NIT title Thursday night in New York.
