Braves blank Giants

The Atlanta Braves mastered the San Francisco Giants 3-0 in the rubber game of their three game series in Atlanta.  Julio Tehran pitched six innings of shutout ball, getting out of  a bases loaded jam in the sixth.  Good relief work, including a save for Craig Kimbel did the job for the Braves and Freddie Freeman had three singles in leading the way offensively.  The Braves upped their lead to 6 1/2 games over second place Washington in the NL East.  A new series starting for the Braves Monday night with the New York Mets in Atlanta with first pitch at 7:10 PM.  We will join the game in progress if time permits following Legion Baseball on Newsradio 1490. The Braves will have a day-night doubleheader Tuesday with the Mets.
