Braves lose series to Mets

The New York Mets handed the Atlanta Braves their first series loss of the young season, winning the rubber game of the three game series in Atlanta 6-4.  Eric Young Jr. was the catalyst with three hits, stole three bases, and scored four runs for New York.  Justin Upton hit two homers for the Braves, but it wasn’t enough to pull out the victory Thursday night.  The Braves, now 5-4, begin a weekend series with the Washington Nationals Friday night in Atlanta.  Julio Tehran goes on the mound for Atlanta.  The Braves took two out of three from the Nats last weekend in Washington.  First pitch is 7: 35 PM Friday night.  The game will be broadcast on Newsradio 1490, joining in progress following the Bobcats broadcast on Newsradio 1490.  The series with the Nationals will continue through Sunday.
