Coming Snowstorm changing the High School Basketball Schedule

Because of an impending snowstorm arriving by Tuesday, the High School Basketball games that had been scheduled for Tuesday have now been moved to Monday night for Rowan County teams.  That includes Central Carolina’s Conference games, Thomasville at North Rowan and Salisbury at West Davidson. Weather permitting with even a possibility of some snow on Monday, the Girls/Boys Varsity Doubleheaders will be set to start at 6:00PM.  In the SPC, those games are also moved up to Monday, with girls starting at around 6:15PM following Jayvee games of quadruple headers.  They include Carson at Hickory Ridge, East Rowan at Central Cabarrus, West Rowan at Cox Mill, and Concord at Northwest Cabarrus.  South Rowan has the night off.  Conference Tournaments are due to start next week, so making up possibly postponed games will be difficult.  The next scheduled play by play broadcast is now Friday night when Salisbury hosts North Rowan in the scheduled regular season finale for both.
