Habitat for Humanity keeps putting them up

SALISBURY – Coleman Emerson says this is the part that never gets old; turning over the keys of the newest Habitat For Humanity house on Oakwood Avenue to the proud new owner.

On Saturday morning Emerson, along with others from Habitat, and volunteers from First Baptist Church and the community met to dedicate the new home of Ann Boler and her three children.

“There are different textures to every family, every house,” Emerson told WBTV.  “But no, this part never gets old.”

As part of the tradition with each home, Emerson presented a new Bible to Boler just before she and her children, and a few dozen volunteers, walked inside to see the home.

Boler, along with children Zynoria, ZaQuavion, and Destini, were clearly excited at the prospect of living in the new home.
