After over a week’s inactivity due to exams, weather, and various other factors, Rowan County’s High School Basketball teams get back on the court Tuesday night.  All County squads except for East Rowan take to the court Tuesday.  Feature game for Newsradio 1490 and 1490wstp.com will be West Iredell at West Rowan.  The Varsity Girls game expected to tipoff at 6:30PM following JV games, with our play by play coverage starting at around 7:30Pm from the West Gym.  The West Girls are still unbeaten at 14-0 and ranked Number one in the State 3-A poll.  Othe projected 6:30 starts for NPC games are Statesville at South Rowan and North Iredell at Carson.  The Girls game for North Iredell at Carson is a key one for top conference contenders.  6:00PM starts for Varsity Girls Doubleheaders for Salisbury at Lexington and North Rowan at North Moore. 

Wednesday South Rowan visits Salisbury and North Iredell is at West Rowan in doubleheaders.  Salisbury will have four doubleheaders this week, with a matchup with North Rowan scheduled Saturday at Catawba’s Goodman Gym.
