Major League Baseball starts its Season

The Major League season started Sunday night, with a surprising 8-2 win for the Houston Astros over the Texas Rangers.  The Astros, Baseball’s worst team in 2012, won their first game ever as an American League team, getting at three run pinch hit homer from Rick Ankiel the key blow.  Bud Norris started and got the win for Houston with relief help from Erik Bedard, who pitched 3 1/3 scoreless innings to pick up his first career save.  Justin Maxwell had a pair of triples and made an outstanding catch in center field.  Matt Harrison took the loss on the mound for Texas.
