Spencer, NC (WBTV) – The football stadium at North Rowan High School will be filled with yelling enthusiastic fans on Thursday morning, but it won’t be to cheer on the football team.

These fans are teachers and staff in Rowan-Salisbury Schools filling the stadium for a one of a kind pep rally.

Superintendent Dr. Lynn Moody put together the rally as a way to motivate teachers and staff prior to the opening of classes on Monday.

Along with spirit chants from each school, there will be prizes awarded.  Some of the gifts include the use of a new car for a year, a diamond ring, spa day, and many more.

WBTV will be there as well.  Look for this story to be updated later today.
