WBTV’s Meteorologist Al Conklin. After tying a record high of 76 Wednesday, we will challenge the record of 74 today, set in 1997. And we’ll continue to see a threat of spring-like showers today and tonight, but they will remain widely scattered….most of the area will be rain free today. An approaching front looks to kick off a more important round of showers and heavier thunderstorms early on Friday, followed by a clearing trend for Friday afternoon. Highs Friday will still be above normal, in the mid to upper 60s.
The weekend will be dry and mild with high temperatures in the mid 60s.
Enjoy the warm weather!
